Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will develop foundational systems for the Fountain platform, ensuring performance, security, and stability while collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ship platform capabilities across all customer and internal products
• Own performance, security, and stability for high-traffic production systems
• Lead architectural decisions for human and agentic interfaces

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years in a professional engineering role focused on backend development
• Expert-level systems design with a track record of launching production-ready systems
• Experience with agentic or LLM-based systems beyond consumer use
• Ability to thrive in autonomous and ambiguous environments
• Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across time zones
