Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will develop foundational systems for Fountain's workforce management platform, focusing on performance, security, and stability while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ship platform capabilities across all customer and internal products
• Own performance, security, and stability for high-traffic production systems
• Lead architectural decisions for human and agentic interfaces

Required qualifications

• A minimum of five years in a professional engineering role, primarily focused on backend development
• Expert-level systems design with a proven history of launching production-ready systems
• Demonstrated experience with agentic or LLM-based systems beyond consumer use
• Ability to thrive in autonomous and ambiguous environments
• Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across time zones
