Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative payment solutions, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will code, test, and analyze software while driving the Software Development Life Cycle and providing technical leadership, with the flexibility to work remotely within Texas.

Key responsibilities:

• Code, test, analyze, and review software for accuracy, functionality, performance, and security
• Drive the Software Development Life Cycle, defining sprint goals and leading product launches
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 7 years of experience as a Java developer, with 6 years in Java Enterprise software development
• 5 years of experience in Spring Framework or equivalent, and in Java memory and performance tuning
• 4 years of experience with concurrent programming for real-time transaction systems
• 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring engineers in a fintech environment
