Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and owning key services for an insurance platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to develop AI-driven underwriting, administration, and scaling capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core services for quoting, rating, and policy management within the insurance platform
• Utilize agentic AI coding tools to enhance development processes and ensure high-quality code delivery
• Collaborate with Product and Insurance SMEs to translate requirements into functional software solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend services in production
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or a comparable backend language, with experience across the software stack
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API-first design
• Hands-on experience with AI-integrated features and familiarity with agentic AI coding tools
• US-based and able to work core business hours
