Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer II, the candidate will work remotely, leveraging expert knowledge in Ruby on Rails and backend development to build the next generation of practice management software while collaborating with product teams and writing efficient, well-tested code.

Key responsibilities

• Building out the next generation practice management platform
• Collaborating with the Product team to understand customer needs and define upcoming features
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code that enhances the code base

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails or other web application frameworks
• Solid experience in at least one modern JavaScript framework, specifically Ember.js or React.js
• Experience in reporting and analytics, with a track record of implementing large, scalable web applications
• Understanding of Test Driven Development and experience taking Rails apps from idea to production
• Experience mentoring other engineers and collaborating with remote teams
