Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on building and maintaining systems for vendor semantic data, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will manage the Vendor Schema Registry, develop a Semantic Validation Pipeline, and enhance the Developer Experience through internal tooling and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Vendor Schema Registry by ingesting, parsing, and versioning vendor API specifications while tracking schema evolution
• Implement the Semantic Validation Pipeline to ensure correctness of vendor schemas against the canonical ontology
• Design and maintain internal tooling and documentation to support product teams and ingest engineers in utilizing the knowledge platform effectively

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with experience in parsing and validating structured specifications at scale
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, and/or Python, with comfort in polyglot environments
• Deep experience with API specification formats such as OpenAPI/Swagger and Smithy
• Practical understanding of graph data models and the implications of schema decisions
• Demonstrated experience in building internal tooling or SDKs that enhance developer productivity
