Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Orchestration Language team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain Apollo's MCP Server and GraphOS MCP Server/Tools in Rust, focusing on enhancing AI agent interactions with federated graphs in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Apollo MCP Server and GraphOS MCP Server/Tools while adapting to evolving MCP specifications
• Implement customer-driven improvements and develop "Skills" for AI agent workflows to enhance usability across Apollo's products
• Engage with customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational reliability and codebase health

Required qualifications

• Experience with Rust and a strong background in low-level systems programming (C/C++ experience is also acceptable)
• Expertise in systems engineering, including stateless systems, event-driven patterns, and protocol implementation
• Hands-on experience with AI developer tools and an understanding of their limitations and potential improvements
• Strong debugging skills and a willingness to engage in operational tasks beyond feature development
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams with a positive, growth-oriented mindset
