Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the development of high-performance applications, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will architect, develop, and maintain complex systems in C++, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance while leading code reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain complex applications in C++ with a focus on advanced memory management and multithreaded architecture
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers to promote technical growth within the team
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and manage Docker-based containerization workflows

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Mainframe Skills: COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSM
• Expert understanding of C++ dynamic memory allocation, threading models, and concurrent programming patterns
• Proficiency in CMake for cross-platform build configurations and Docker for containerized environments
• Hands-on experience with GDB and Valgrind for debugging and performance tuning
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
