Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on full-stack software development, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions as part of a legacy modernization initiative, collaborating with Agile teams and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-quality backend and frontend components, including APIs and user interfaces
• Refactor legacy Java applications into Spring Boot services while ensuring data integrity and backward compatibility
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions, collaborating with DevOps teams for deployment and operational support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Java and strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and proficiency with JUnit or similar testing frameworks
• Working experience with Angular (v2+) and TypeScript for front-end integration
• Relational database skills with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including SQL and schema design
