Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Senior Systems Software Engineer will design, write, and ship production-grade code while improving the reliability and performance of critical applications in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement production-grade code to enhance system reliability and performance across multiple services
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, including backend code and infrastructure components
• Contribute to observability improvements by developing tools, metrics, and incident response processes

Required qualifications:

• 7-8+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend or SRE/infrastructure roles
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python or Go, with a strong ability to ship production code
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL or similar databases, including performance tuning and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, containers (Docker), and Kubernetes in production
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
