Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer focused on Performance & Reliability, this hybrid role will design and implement production-grade code, enhance system performance and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex production challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and deploy production-grade code to resolve bugs and improve system performance and reliability
• Identify and troubleshoot application issues across the stack, implementing code-level fixes as needed
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance observability, contribute to incident response processes, and optimize operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 7-8+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend or SRE/infrastructure roles
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
