Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from the Netherlands, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development and enhancement of Firefox features related to OS integrations, focusing on installs and updates while collaborating with a geographically distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve Firefox features related to installations, updates, and OS integrations
• Implement enhancements to the Firefox installation and update experience using data insights
• Collaborate with team members to scope, prioritize, and tackle platform-specific challenges

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience with systems-level programming on at least one major platform (Windows, macOS)
• Solid programming skills in C/C++
• Ability to work effectively in distributed teams
• Experience with low-level operating system integration challenges
