Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Command and Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) program, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and troubleshoot mission-critical software while collaborating with a dynamic team, with the option for remote work and preference for candidates able to occasionally work onsite in Morgantown, WV.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug software using modern programming languages and tools, primarily Java
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and utilize Agile development tools for project management
• Collaborate with engineers to create technical designs and ensure the delivery of maintainable code

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Active Secret clearance or higher, with the ability to maintain clearance during employment
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks such as React
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplined engineering team
