Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and modernizing a critical product catalog, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer II will manage end-to-end feature development, collaborate on specifications, and utilize AI-driven tooling while ensuring high code quality across the full stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement catalog features, including API design, business logic, data models, and React UI
• Participate in the catalog modernization effort, maintaining and improving existing platforms while developing new features
• Write automated tests, review code, and contribute to maintaining code standards and observability for catalog services

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools
• Proficiency in backend development with C#/.NET, Go, Python, or Java, and experience with relational databases like MS SQL Server or Postgres
• Strong understanding of full-stack development, including proficiency in React or a modern frontend framework
• Experience owning features from specification through deployment and incident response
• Solid grasp of software design principles, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD practices
