Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of a shared data platform, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will architect data capabilities, manage end-to-end data delivery, and ensure alignment of technical initiatives with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery of data across Market Research, Market Surveys, and Daylight Revenue, aligning technical priorities with product goals
• Design and evolve data ingestion pipelines for processing data from over 10M multifamily units
• Define standards for data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness to meet product line requirements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience focused on delivering customer-facing data pipelines
• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails and Python
• Deep understanding of large-scale data collection methods, including web scraping and structured feed ingestion
• Hands-on experience with batch-style data workflows using tools like dbt or Airflow
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure, including RDS, ECS, S3, and Lambda
