Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer with expertise in AWS and Node.js to validate architecture and ensure reliable data delivery for a real-time application in motorsport, working remotely with potential travel to Georgia.

Key responsibilities

• Validate AWS Kinesis architecture and identify gaps in the real-time data pipeline
• Build and maintain Node.js services for processing streaming data over WebSockets and Kinesis
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the streaming layer delivers clean and reliable data

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software or backend engineer, focusing on distributed systems and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Expert proficiency in Node.js for building production-grade services, including TypeScript and error handling
• Hands-on experience with WebSocket-based streaming data flows in production environments
• Production experience with AWS Kinesis stream design and management
• Strong system design fundamentals to identify and recommend improvements for existing architectures
