Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build shared platform capabilities, focusing on backend services, APIs, and workflow orchestration while effectively applying AI throughout the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build shared services, APIs, and workflows that support administrative experiences and core platform capabilities
• Design reliable backend systems for cross-domain business flows and operationally critical use cases
• Partner with product, design, and engineering peers to turn ambiguous problems into well-scoped, high-quality deliveries

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of strong software engineering experience building backend systems and APIs in production
• Strong fluency with AI-assisted software delivery and practical understanding of AI-native workflows
• Experience in Go or deep proficiency in a comparable backend language such as Java
• Experience building and operating transactional databases such as Postgres, RDS, or Aurora
• Comfort with workflow orchestration, event-driven architectures, and operational complexity
