Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software/Data Engineer to work remotely, this full-time position involves building and maintaining enterprise data architectures, pipelines, and microservices for the US Air Force Research Laboratory while collaborating with stakeholders in an Agile framework within a secure cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise data architectures and pipelines for the Air Force Research Laboratory
• Facilitate operations within a secure cloud environment using DevSecOps practices
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively

Required qualifications

• US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related technical fields
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Python, SQL, and modern data management practices
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and containerization, including Kubernetes
