Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a technical leader, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect, develop, and deliver innovative software solutions remotely, while mentoring team members and driving engineering best practices to support the company's vision of becoming a technology-first provider in the insurance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise-scale system architectures, ensuring high cohesion and modularity
• Lead security initiatives, including threat modeling and secure architecture reviews
• Champion performance engineering and establish coding standards, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with significant involvement in system and solution architecture
• Expert proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Proven track record designing and operating containerized workloads and infrastructure as code
• Hands-on experience identifying and mitigating security risks using OWASP and SAST/DAST tools
