Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of a SaaS platform, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions, focusing on scalable web applications and RESTful API integration in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications ensuring performance and reliable database interactions for large data workloads
• Create and consume web-based APIs with a strong emphasis on RESTful design and integration
• Collaborate with team members to solve real-world problems and contribute to departmental goals and objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles, MVC, and SOA architectures
• Advanced proficiency in PHP, with experience in frameworks like Symfony or Laravel
• Solid experience with database concepts and SQL, including PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus
