Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will deliver reliable code in a Rails/React environment, mentor teammates, and contribute to sustainable software development for a mission-driven fintech company.

Key responsibilities

• Independently deliver code while supporting and mentoring teammates in the Rails/React stack
• Apply best practices for testing, accessibility, security, and maintainability while addressing technical debt
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers to understand and meet business needs

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a web application developer with a strong background in Rails
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience in high-compliance environments (e.g., PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOX)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first, agile environment
