Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving projects from concept to production, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will build core backend functionality in Ruby on Rails, develop customer-facing features in React, and leverage AI tools to enhance software development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build core backend functionality in Ruby on Rails and relational databases
• Architect backend improvements for performance and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Develop React components in TypeScript for customer-facing features and integrate third-party services

Required qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field
• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience
• Strong understanding of Ruby and Rails or similar backend frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript, preferably with React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience or strong interest in AI/LLM technologies and prompt-first development workflows
