Job Summary

Shaping the future of project planning and tracking, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, prototype, implement, and support user experiences while working remotely and contributing to the GitHub platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build user experiences that enhance productivity and collaboration for millions of users
• Design and ship features integrating LLM and agent workflows into the planning and tracking experience
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to foster growth within the engineering team

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related discipline with proven software delivery in multiple programming languages
• Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in relevant technical fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, or Python
