Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building new AI security features for an access proxy product, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will connect this product to the Delinea Platform and ensure a seamless experience for customers while enforcing access policies in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI security features into the access proxy product
• Establish enforcement boundaries for agent-to-agent communication using protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Collaborate with product teams to transition features into the Delinea Platform without disrupting existing customers

Required qualifications

• Typically 8 or more years of experience in building production backend or networking systems
• Hands-on experience with proxies, gateways, or API gateways that inspect or control traffic
• Strong proficiency in a modern backend programming language such as Go, C#, Java, or Rust
• Experience in evolving products across releases while maintaining customer continuity
• Ability to tackle complex problems with limited direction and make informed design trade-offs
