Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced software engineers will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for developing next-generation healthcare software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive all phases of software development for a large consumer-facing application, including requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, and testing
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate user needs into technical requirements and detailed architecture
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives, while providing mentorship and guidance to team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience developing Cloud Native applications on AWS or proficiency in Go/Golang or React + TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern version control systems (e.g., Git) and tools (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub)
• Ability to communicate designs effectively with product managers and engineers
