Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To lead the design and implementation of scalable systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on backend development using Node.js and React technologies, while providing technical guidance and optimizing performance across applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead system architecture and design, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards
• Write and maintain efficient code, focusing on backend services, RESTful API development, and SQL database optimization
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development, particularly with Node.js and React technologies
• Deep proficiency in backend development using Node.js, including experience with frameworks like Express.js and Fastify
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in database design, query optimization, and ORMs such as Prisma or TypeORM
• Experience deploying applications on Azure and familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization
