Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will lead design reviews, establish reusable patterns, and drive reliability improvements for AI-enabled learning systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and implementation for cross-cutting engineering efforts, setting technical direction
• Establish reusable service templates and patterns that multiple teams can adopt
• Drive refactors and reliability improvements to reduce defects and enhance system performance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production code
• Extensive experience in designing and operating production software systems at scale
• Proven track record of setting technical direction and shipping associated outcomes
• Strong system design skills, including reliability controls and observability
• Experience leading modernization efforts to reduce long-term costs of change
