Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI-powered healthcare solutions, the full-time Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI) will design and implement scalable AI features, including RAG pipelines and LLM integrations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build production AI features and high-performance data pipelines that integrate healthcare data securely
• Drive architectural decisions and mentor fellow engineers on best practices for Applied AI within the team
• Own and deliver complex technical projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and timelines

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in service-oriented architectures
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and Agentic workflows
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with a major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Deep understanding of modern service design principles, including RESTful and event-driven architectures
• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and driving technical best practices within a team
