Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To design and build systems for an automations platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will take ownership of major components, collaborating with DevOps, ML/AI, Customer Success, and UX teams in a hybrid work environment based in San Francisco or remotely from Seattle.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and evolution of a workflow automation system, implementing scheduling and resource allocation strategies
• Build and maintain integrations with various data sources and develop file processing pipelines for high data volumes
• Take ownership of complex backend projects, participate in architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with distributed systems and automated workflows at scale
• Strong database expertise, including SQL and schema design
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
• Proven ability to improve reliability and performance in production systems
