Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a creative problem-solver, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to design and maintain web-scale data systems, mentor junior engineers, and enhance engineering productivity using expertise in Python, Rust, and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, and maintain complex web-scale data systems
• Analyze and validate new data sets to provide value for customers
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development experience with Python, GoLang, Rust, or equivalent languages
• 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• 3+ years of experience with web-scale data engineering and data stores such as OpenSearch and Postgres
• 3+ years of professional experience with Kafka
• 5+ years of experience working with Linux/Unix environments
