Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To join a high-caliber Web3 engineering team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will implement and operationalize core backend services for wallet operations and blockchain integrations while ensuring security and scalability in a contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and operationalize core backend services with a focus on fault tolerance, security, and scalability
• Build API-first services that integrate blockchain networks and third-party solutions while ensuring strong consistency
• Operationalize event-driven systems using Apache Kafka and maintain high test coverage through automated testing frameworks

Required qualifications

• 7 or more years of software engineering experience in regulated financial or enterprise environments
• Extensive hands-on proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with expertise in API-first design and microservices architecture
• Strong command of concurrent, multi-threaded, and asynchronous programming models
• Proven experience delivering highly available, consistent, and distributed applications
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing for observability
