Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will develop and support applications for research and clinical functions, focusing on the XNAT platform and overseeing software releases while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement core functionality for the XNAT platform, including DICOM workflows and data management tools
• Manage end-to-end release processes, including versioning, regression testing, and deployment coordination
• Mentor junior software engineers and participate in code reviews and testing planning

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with software development principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with the XNAT platform or similar medical imaging informatics systems is preferred
