Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of cutting-edge identity verification technology, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement high-performance microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write high-quality, maintainable code and develop detailed technical documentation while championing strong engineering principles
• Design and develop microservices within a cloud-native, distributed architecture
• Analyze, debug, and resolve production issues, engaging in technical design discussions and owning end-to-end features

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (Java preferred)
• Experience designing event-driven, robust, and scalable solutions for complex technical problems
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) with strong knowledge of design principles for both
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
