Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-performance motorsport client, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will validate AWS Kinesis architecture, identify blind spots in real-time data pipelines, and build Node.js services for streaming data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Validate existing AWS Kinesis architecture and identify gaps for scalability
• Identify and remediate issues in the real-time data pipeline, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Build and maintain Node.js services for processing streaming data over WebSockets and Kinesis

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software or backend engineer focused on distributed systems and AWS
• Expert proficiency in Node.js, including TypeScript and error handling for streaming data
• Hands-on experience with WebSocket-based streaming data flows in production
• Production experience with AWS Kinesis stream design and shard management
• Strong system design fundamentals with the ability to identify and recommend architectural improvements
