Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the Azure Storage service, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, debug, and ship new features while collaborating with global teams to address challenges related to scaling and performance in a partially or fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements and drives the development of design documents
• Creates, implements, optimizes, and debugs code to improve performance, maintainability, and ROI
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding other engineers and monitoring system performance to address issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Equivalent experience may be considered
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check
