Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and owning production systems for a modeling platform, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will develop, test, and deploy components for real-time sports betting and analytics products using Python and Rust.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, debug, and deploy production-grade components and services for real-time sports betting products
• Own the deployment and operation of services on Kubernetes within a shared ecosystem
• Proactively improve and extend the Rust codebase while resolving data inaccuracies in the Python codebase

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5-7 years of experience building and shipping production software
• Advanced experience in Python, with strong preference for Rust experience
• Experience in a Kubernetes environment and setting up alerting and monitoring systems
• Proficiency with SQL and experience working in AWS environments
