Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and building greenfield API services, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to establish the integration layer for Sharetec's Core modernization initiative, utilizing Go to create secure and well-documented REST or GraphQL APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement greenfield REST or GraphQL APIs in Go, ensuring security, performance, and documentation
• Establish the API as the integration layer and transitional architecture for modernization efforts
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design discussions to promote clear communication and shared ownership

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on complex projects
• Deep proficiency in Go for backend and API service development
• Extensive experience in designing REST or GraphQL APIs from scratch
• Hands-on experience with containerized workloads and Infrastructure as Code solutions like Terraform
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
