Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a technical leader in a fully remote capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will design and deliver complex, high-scale backend services and integrations for multi-channel ecommerce, while mentoring engineers and driving architectural direction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex, high-scale services and integrations from concept to production
• Drive technical direction and make key architectural decisions that shape the team's roadmap
• Mentor and guide engineers while ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in system design and distributed systems, with experience designing and owning systems at scale
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, C#, or Python
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), microservices, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with high-throughput or marketplace/ecommerce systems is a plus
