Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To design, build, and own end-to-end product features for thousands of developers, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will focus on delivering reliable, high-quality systems across frontend, backend, and data layers while collaborating with product and design teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the development and maintenance of production systems, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear technical solutions and ship user-facing features
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior engineers to elevate the engineering standards

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of production systems
• Strong web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MVC frameworks like Django or Flask
• Experience building and shipping user-facing web applications and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data correctness
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, async-friendly environment
