Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Transforming business needs into scalable software solutions, the full-time remote Senior Lead Software Engineer will provide technical direction across design, delivery, and integration of software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions for public sector portals while maintaining and enhancing existing applications
• Develop and support new functionalities using modern technologies such as Java, NodeJS, and Kubernetes
• Mentor less experienced software engineers and facilitate improvements in the release process towards Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise development using Java or JavaScript with hands-on experience in various frameworks
• 4+ years of experience with application integrations, including RESTful Web Services and Micro-services
• 3-5 years of experience in architecture, design, and development of web-based applications
• 3-5 years of experience with Agile Development Methodology
• Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases
