Job Summary

To enhance the performance and reliability of blockchain infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer specializing in Block Production will develop and optimize block production mechanisms, refine scheduling processes, and ensure security and integrity within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mechanisms for block production to improve throughput and stability of the Solana network
• Refine scheduling mechanisms for block production and verification, enabling efficient transaction processing
• Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within the block production pipeline

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience with 3+ years in core infrastructure software and distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust, C, or C++
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques
• Knowledge of common security threats and best practices in securing block production processes
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration
