Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full software development lifecycle, the full-time Senior Software Engineer IV will design and build core STARLIMS applications while providing system support and mentoring junior team members in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop business rules, data management, and embedded system control applications
• Plan and execute system installations, upgrades, and configurations while providing day-to-day support
• Evaluate system improvements and ensure compliance with corporate policies and documentation standards

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience with strong SQL capabilities
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent training/experience
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management and validation of regulated applications
• Knowledge of system and network security, change management, and disaster recovery practices
• Ability to produce SDLC documentation, installation instructions, and training materials
