Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer, the successful candidate will focus on building and optimizing a world-class distributed file system while collaborating with stakeholders to define features and ensure system reliability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine user requirements for features by collaborating with stakeholders
• Create and implement code for products, services, or features, while breaking down larger tasks into manageable work items
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system performance and address issues as they arise

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, or Java
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements upon hire and every two years thereafter
