Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance fraud detection and risk management systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely, focusing on designing and implementing fraud detection platforms, creating internal tools for operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address risk challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement fraud detection and risk decisioning systems, including rule engines and scoring pipelines
• Create investigation and review tools to assist the Trust & Safety operations team in efficiently resolving cases
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, propose solutions, and prioritize the development roadmap

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in fraud, trust & safety, or risk management
• Experience building fraud detection or risk decisioning systems
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with experience in scalable, event-driven systems
• Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to validate solutions and iterate based on feedback
• Good judgment and prioritization skills to address complex problems effectively
