Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support high-performance backend service development, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable production solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java
• Integrate backend applications with machine learning models and develop event-driven components for high-volume production systems
• Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing resilience patterns and conducting incident response as needed

Required qualifications

• Strong professional experience developing production applications with Java
• Experience designing backend services, APIs, and distributed systems
• Understanding of Java design patterns, object-oriented programming, and software architecture
• Experience with automated testing and continuous integration and delivery practices
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Datadog or similar platforms
