Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of release-defining projects, the full-time Senior Software Engineer on the Managed Service (Helios) team will design and implement advanced capabilities in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and decision-making for large projects impacting the cloud platform
• Design and implement new capabilities across networking, control plane, and managed service infrastructure
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues in cloud environments related to distributed systems

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud services
• 4+ years of experience in developing and debugging system-level software using languages like Golang, C++, or Rust
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Proven ability to design and build high-performance system software
• Experience leading projects from design through production rollout
