Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Travel Management team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and re-architect backend systems, focusing on scalable solutions for enterprise customers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Re-architect account hierarchy to support complex business relationships
• Build dynamic travel policies that scale across various travel services for enterprise clients
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and frontend engineers to deliver features end-to-end

Required qualifications:

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals in Node / TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with a compiled language (Go or Rust)
• Solid relational database experience (Postgres, MySQL) and distributed systems knowledge
• AWS and serverless architecture experience (Lambda)
• Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and operate in ambiguity
