Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of innovative healthcare technology solutions, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products while working Pacific Coast business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, high-performance systems using event-driven architectures and distributed systems
• Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical products, including real-time data pipelines and hybrid architectures
• Partner with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive R&D initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in Python and Java
• Mastery of event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data standards (FHIR, CCDA, HL7 V2/V3)
• Demonstrated success in optimizing system performance and reducing infrastructure costs
