Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance user activation, engagement, and retention, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and iterate on experiments and systems within the Growth team, collaborating closely with product, design, and data partners in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship experiments to improve user activation, engagement, and retention from hypothesis through measurement and iteration
• Partner with product, design, and data science to identify growth opportunities and translate them into a prioritized technical roadmap
• Design, build, and integrate systems, services, and APIs, while analyzing product usage data to inform strategies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in growth or lifecycle-focused teams
• Strong product sense with experience in A/B testing and product experiments, and comfort interpreting data for decision-making
• Solid full-stack engineering skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, and AWS
• Experience in designing and integrating services and APIs within cloud-based architectures
• Fluency with data tools such as SQL and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) to support data-driven decisions
