Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a leading financial technology organization, the contract-to-hire Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain secure APIs and microservices for a Banking-as-a-Service platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an onsite role based in or near Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs and microservices that support partner onboarding and BaaS integrations
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable, reliable solutions
• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, automated testing, and CI/CD practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical leadership or mentoring capacity
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Azure-native services
• Understanding of security and compliance standards relevant to financial services, including PCI DSS and SOC 2
